After 34 plus years as a Commercial Real Estate Broker people often assume that I will be retiring soon…..

Quite the contrary!

Over my career I have been blessed to work with many great people, companies, and situations all of which created great experience/knowledge about my industry and success for my clients.

In 1996, when I began Brian L. Lightle, Inc. CRES (predecessor to LBR) I earned my CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation, which required extensive study and examinations on many different commercial real estate subjects.  This provided a great foundation for my business so much so that many people say that earning the CCIM designation is equivalent to earning a Master’s Degree in Commercial Real Estate.  (CCIM.com)

In 2013 I reached a level of experience and production sufficient to earn my SIOR (Society of Industrial and Office Realtors) designation.  This achievement and organization surrounded me with the best of the best Industrial and Office brokers in the world, only 3,600 total.  The knowledge and relationships that SIOR has provided has been a huge blessing to my clients and myself as it raises the bar requiring the highest level of ethics in our industry.  (SIOR.com)

Last month after a year and half application/interview process, I was notified that I had been accepted into The Counselors of Real Estate and earned the prestigious CRE designation.  I am extremely honored and thankful to have become part of this group of 1,000 worldwide problem solvers who provide intelligent, unbiased, and trusted real estate advice on the toughest real estate issues facing their clients. While adding these letters to my title is a great accomplishment, the most important part of this is that I continue to learn and improve so that I may provide greater service to my new and existing clients.
